God Speaks: I AM THE WAY.

…that night I ended with the words and quiet tears, “I am so tired God, show me a better way.”

God Speaks: I AM THE WAY

It is my human observation that we become so involved in our day to day schedules, traditions and agendas we forget to plug into the source. It is my own confession that I’d become a conditional worshipper, prayer and servant. I make reference to being a conditional servant because I became so invested in my negative emotions it began to trickle into my servant work, therapy. I began lacking in the area of love—giving love, leading with love—loving their whole person. Love is a huge factor for me when working with people so intimately. It is necessary to see him or her—acquaint myself with their story and love them for who they have presented themselves to be in that moment, at that hour, at that minute and commit to leading with love at every second, in each session.

…but I’d allowed the spirit of defeat and hopelessness to pave my way. It began to overpower the spirit of love.

I profess that small testimony to illustrate true healing from ALL negative emotions being a full and authentic acceptance of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If we do not intentionally dedicate time daily with God our spirits weaken—in turn, we fall victim to our greatest temptations, seeking comfort in man and entrusting our spirits to negative emotions.

If you are a weekly reader you may also recall on that night I asked God to remove and destroy what is not of HIM. I believe Travis Greene sings, “So take everything, I don’t; want it, I don’t need it God.” See, I realized that in order for me—in order for us to stand tall, lead with love, experience the very opposite of sadness, frustration and anxiety it was necessary to recommit my life to the King—the ultimate joy Replinsher, the Love Tank Filler, the Healer, the Father and I could go on. This was necessary to save my life and the only way to the father is through the son.

“Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not wither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:5-6 NKJ)
